Born in a rally family, it is no surprise that Marlon (1994) has fuel running through her veins.
Her dad became Dutch rally champion and sports man of the year back in 1988. He also has been a co-driver for the Ford and Mitsubishi factory teams during his carreer in rallying.
Her mum has been co-driver as well and worked, and still works, for a company specialized in improving their driver skills. She coaches drivers and pays close attention to road safety. For years she has been training groups of drivers in Finland, to improve theirs skills in driving on ice and drifting.
Seeing her parents enjoying the co-driving, was the reason Marlon already made her debut as a co-driver in 2009, when she was only 15 years old! She still is the youngest Dutch co-driver to start in the rally sport.
Up to today she built up a huge amount of experience and participated in several championships. Since 3 years she teamed up with Melissa Debackere and they were the first full female crew to win a big Dutch rally. A great achievement.
